Libretto is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to contribute to foundational projects like:

• Building out our suite of LLM evaluations, using NLP algorithms, deterministic tests, and LLM prompts themselves.
• Coaxing LLMs to generate and validate new test cases for our customers’ prompts.
• Creating drop-dead simple SDKs to get our customers to painlessly try our product out.
• Optimizing our customers’ prompts automatically, creating a virtual junior prompt engineer for their teams.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 3+ years of experience building scalable and customer-focused systems.
• Gets a thrill when they see customers actually using a product they built.
• Has experience with some subset of the technologies we use: NextJS, React, GraphQL, Timescale or Postgres.
• Is excited about the flexibility of working in a startup in the middle of rapidly developing field.
• Is humble, practical, and empathetic, knowing that we will only be able to build great things if we can work together.

It would be amazing if you:

• Are open to hybrid-work in NYC. We believe that some amount of in-person time will help us move faster as a team, especially at the earliest stages.
• Have built developer tools in the past.
